There have been a number of Glenister emigrants from England to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA. This is the earliest known record of such an emigrant.
To America in 1635 and 1718
Extracted from List of emigrants to America 1600-1700, edited by Hotten, published by Genealogical Publishing Company, Utah in 1974.

Persons transported from London to Virginia, leaving on 10 August 1635 aboard ship "Safety": Robert Glenester, age 25

I have no further details of this Robert, and I don't even know if arrived in Virigina.

A few other emigrants...extracted in October 1999 from a web site "Family Tree Maker" Passenger and Immigrant lists index (U.S. for 1538-1940).

Francis Glenister emigrated to the Colony of Virginia in 1718.

Source: NUGENT, NELL, MARION, abstractor. Cavaliers and Pioneers: Abstracts of Virgina Land Patents and Grants Vol 3: 1695-1732. Richmond (VA): Virgina State Library, 1979. 578p. Indexed.

Robert Glenister emigrated to the Colony of Virgina in 1636.

This is probably the same Robert Glenister mentioned at the top of this page.

Unfortunately I have no further details of the origin or any family of these Glenisters.
